I can't remember a time when I didn't love to read. From the moment I mastered Go Dog Go! to devouring everything by Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume, I've always been a reader.

Now that my own children are becoming independent readers I hope that they will fall in love with books as much as I did, and that they will help pass that love on. This month, our Family Dinner Book Club is focused on encouraging education and literacy, and I have a fun printable and activities to do just that!

Encourage Reading with Family Dinner Book Club

Our Family Dinner Book Club is one of the easiest ways to encourage your family to read together. It's simple: every month my co-hosts and I give you a book list, dinner menu, and an activity all around a common theme.

All year we've encourage kids to make a difference, and this month we are encouraging education and literacy with our featured book, Beatrice's Goat by Page McBrier.
