3 Easy Ways to Eat More Vegetables

Simple ways to eat more vegetables that the whole family can agree on.

Thank you to Veggies Made Great for sponsoring this post.

I'll be the first one to admit it. I need to eat more vegetables.

Don't get me wrong, I love veggies and I know how important they are to a healthy diet. But sometimes life, especially mom life, gets busy and when it does the first thing to go is my healthy habits. Which means I might grab a sugary granola bar instead of a carrot stick when it's time for a snack.

And let's not even get started on getting my kids to eat more vegetables. The struggle is real.

I'll let you in on a little secret though. I've discovered a super easy and delicious way to eat more vegetables, and it's right inside the freezer aisle at Harris Teeter (curbside pickup and delivery available too).

When I'm trying to find ways to get more vegetables on my plate I look no further than Veggies Made Great. They do all the hard work for you by creating delicious breakfast, snack, and sides with veggies as the first and primary ingredient in every product. Plus they are gluten free, soy free, peanut and tree nut free, with varieties the entire family will love!

Make a better breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day right? So why not make sure that it is packed with veggie goodness instead of sugar!

Veggies Made Great Frittatas are my go to for easy healthy breakfasts. They are vegetarian and soy free, and totally delicious! Just pop them in the microwave for 45 seconds and you'll have a filling breakfast for the busiest mornings. My personal favorite is the Spinach and Egg White Frittata, but the Veggie Bacon and Potato (the "bacon" is made from pinto beans!) is a close second.

Anytime snacks for every taste

Some days I feel like a walking snack dispenser. Coming up with healthy snacks can be tough, especially with selective eaters. That's why I love to serve Veggies Made Great muffins at snack time.

These muffins are GENIUS for moms. No kid can resist flavors like Double Chocolate, Blueberry Oat, or Banana Chocolate Chip. They don't need to know that these yummy muffins are packed with healthy vegetables too! It's a super simple way to sneak vegetables into snack time or even dessert.

Add a super side to your meal

I'm not going to lie - I am a little obsessed with Superfood Veggie Cakes. They are so yummy, somewhere between a mini quiche and the inside of an egg roll. It's a lot of delicious in a little package and makes the perfect side dish for lunch or dinner.  And if you have a toaster oven, you can give it a little crisp which makes it ah-mazing.
