This post was first published in 2018, when my kids were in preschool. Imagine my surprise the next year when their kindergarten teacher searched online for "Christmas cards to color" and found them! They've been used by countless families since and I hope your kids love them too.

I don't care how digital our world has become, I still love paper Christmas cards. There's something special about receiving a card in the mail among all the catalogs and bills.

When it comes to sending Christmas cards, our family usually sends out a photo card to friends and family both far and near (you can see below that our photo sessions don't always turn our picture perfect. But hey, that's us!).

Still, sending Christmas cards is one of my favorite holiday traditions. And this year my boys are making their own cards for their grandparents, teachers, and friends with these super cute FREE printable Christmas Cards for Kids to Color.

Christmas Cards for Kids to Color

These free printable cards are perfect for kids to color and share with family, friends, neighbors, or teachers. They also make a great Christmas kindness tradition to send to nursing homes, veterans, or overseas to our military service members. You can also choose to give them to community helpers like firefighters.

The free printable set includes 3 unique card designs that kids will love to color and customize. They can get creative by adding glitter or stickers too!

You can download these Christmas cards for kids by entering your email below. I'll send them right to your inbox!

When you download and open the file, you'll notice that the inside pages are upside down. This is so you can print the cards properly. When printing, be sure to choose two-sided in your print dialog box so that the cards will print correctly.

I recommend printing on card stock for best results. You can find some here. Then trim around the dotted line for a perfect fit in a 5.5" x 8" invitation envelope (I love these red envelopes for Christmas cards).

That's it! Your Christmas cards are now ready for your kids to color, decorate, and send.

PS - don't forget to send Thank You cards after Christmas too! Find FREE printable Thank You cards for kids to color here.
