Earth Day is coming up, and I can't think of Earth Day without thinking about The Lorax by Dr. Seuss - a classic for kids and one of my favorites from childhood. Reading The Lorax (or even watching the movie) is a wonderful way to begin a dialogue with young kids about caring for and protecting our planet - a lesson that is even more important today than it was when The Lorax was published in 1971. And what could be more fun than adding in some fun Lorax crafts and activities too!

As part of our Earth Day celebration this year, my boys and I will be reading The Lorax book together and watching The Lorax movie - I'm so excited to share this story with them!
