10 Flower Books for Kids! Gorgeous picture books for kids all about Spring - perfect for a preschool flower unit or just to celebrate the season.

One of the best things about Spring is seeing all the lovely flowers bloom after a long cold winter. Our Spring has been unusually cold and wet, so we're desperate for some flowers! Since they aren't all quite blooming here yet we went for the next best thing - flower books. If you're looking for a bit of flower power too, check out these 10 awesome kids books, all about flowers!

The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle. You can never go wrong with Eric Carle and this little book about the life of a seed is a flower favorite.

Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert. Lois Ehlert is another one of our favorites (check out our garden markers based on Eating the Alphabet) and Planting a Rainbow is a classic.

Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. Miss Rumphius makes the world more beautiful one flower at a time. Be sure to check out our pipe cleaner lupines inspired by this book.

Look! Flowers! by Stephanie Calmenson. Kids can learn all about different kinds of flowers in this colorful non fiction choice.

Flower Garden by Eve Bunting. A sweet story about a dad, a daughter and a birthday surprise.

Flowers Are Calling by Rita Gray. Learn about the harmony of flowers and the animals around them in this cute book.

 The Reason for a Flower by Ruth Heller. This flower book teaches kids with big, beautiful illustrations.

How Do Flowers Grow? by Katie Daynes. This one is an interactive favorite with fun lift the flaps for young readers.
