A few weeks ago, I was honored to have been invited to the White House for a conversation on the health of our nation's children with Michelle Obama. As part of her Let's Move initiative, Mrs. Obama and her team have made incredible strides in improving healthy eating and exercise opportunities for our children. Their work has inspired me to continue to encourage my own children to make healthy choices and stay physically active (but believe me, my 3 year old twin boys don't ever seem to stop moving!)
Last summer, I put together a list of 7 Free Printables to Teach Healthy Eating and it has been so popular that I've found 9 more free printables to help kids learn about healthy foods and food groups. I've been collecting these resources (and a couple that I created as well) to help our family and I hope they help encourage you to work with your kids on making healthy food choices as well. These printables provide some awesome healthy eating activities for kids and help make nutrition fun. Find them all below - I've even included a few of our favorite kids books on healthy eating too!
