5 Fun & Easy Spring Cleaning Games for Kids

Make Spring cleaning fun with these 5 cleaning games for kids! Kids love to help clean the house, especially when you make cleaning a game. A super fun way to teach kids how to clean!

This post is sponsored by Bissell. All opinions are my own.

We're in the middle of our Spring cleaning and my little helpers want to be involved in everything! Instead of making cleaning a chore for us all to endure, I decided to come up with a few clean house games that would make our Spring cleaning fun. With twin boys and three pets in the house, I need all the help I can get! If you do too, these Spring cleaning games will help get your kids excited to help clean the house, and you may even have a little fun too.

5 Spring Cleaning Games for Kids

1. Monster Pick Up

The first step to Spring cleaning is picking up. My boys LOVE when I pretend to be a monster and chase them, so I use that to my advantage to encourage them to pick up their toys. I put on my best monster face and roar, and they have to pick up all their toys before the "monster" eats them! They find this absolutely hilarious and they are having so much fun trying to beat the monster that they don't realize they are cleaning too.

2. Dust Dance Party

We turn on some fun party tunes and see how much we can dust before the music stops! This is especially fun when you have a big dust mitt that you can shimmy and shake as you do your best silly dance.

3. The Laundry Toss

Get the kids to help sort the laundry by letting them toss everything into the right bins. We make it as fun and silly as possible, doing layups and slam dunks into our laundry baskets. Add in some great music and it's a super fun way to get the laundry sorted and downstairs without feeling like work!

4. Silly Sweeper Races

They love using their little brushes and dustpans so we've turned sweeping up the crumbs into a fun race... whoever sweeps the most crumbs into their dustpan wins. They love running around finding all the little crumbs and dust bunnies on the floor and seeing how fast they can fill their dustpans!

And once all those crumbs are swept and the floor is vacuumed, I like to give it a deep clean with my BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet upright cleaner.

With two young children and three pets in the house, my carpet takes a beating. BISSELL Carpet Cleaning Formulas have Scotchgard™ to not only clean my carpet, but also to help restore and protect it too. I love the 2X Pet Stain & Odor Remover to remove both pet stains and soils from my carpet with patented odor-control technology - it makes my carpet smell so new and fresh again!

BISSELL Scotchgard™formulas are perfect for my high traffic living room carpet that has seen its share of kid and pet stains! It helps me tackle even the toughest stains, and with my ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet upright cleaner's two cleaning settings, the deep clean mode for tougher stains and the express clean mode, and a lightweight, maneuverable body, my carpet is looking and smelling springtime-fresh.

5. Window Art Wash

This is one of our favorites for Spring cleaning and every day - encourage kids to wash those windows by letting them draw on them first! Use window or chalk markers and let them create a masterpiece, then wash it away. Seriously, my kids love this and my windows get sparkling clean in the process! Want to see for yourself?
