Free Printable Love Journal for Kids

Celebrate every day moments of love with this free printable love journal for kids.

Love is one of the most universal, important parts of our lives. And as parents, we want nothing more than for our children to feel loved. That's why I'm so excited that this month's Family Dinner Book Club is focusing on love, and I have fun activities and a free printable to help your family explore the many ways that love is all around us.

Family Dinner Book Club: Love

This month, our Family Dinner Book Club is focused on love. If you're new to this project, it's a wonderful way for families to connect around a shared theme with book recommendations, a full dinner menu, and activities to complete the experience.

After you've downloaded your activities, be sure to head to Growing Book by Book for your book list and to Chef Sarah Elizabeth for this month's menu.

This month's featured book is LOVE by Matt de la Pena. He is one of my family's favorite authors, and we explored his book Last Stop on Market Street for a previous Family Dinner Book Club month.

LOVE is a gorgeous picture book that celebrates all the ways that we experience love: from the bonds of family to the everyday pleasures of life. It inspired me to think about the ways that we feel and show love each day, and how we can record those moments. So I created a free printable love journal to help us capture these times in an easy, fun way.

Free Printable Love Journal

This journal provides a way for kids (or adults) to recognize and record moments of love every day. It starts with a simple cover that kids can color or decorate any way they would like.

On the back cover, there is a place to list people and things that you love.

Finally, the pages inside provide a daily journal for kids to record ways in which they both felt loved and showed love each day.

They can draw, write, use stickers, or decorate the journal any way they would like. It's a wonderful way to remember and celebrate the way love connects us every day.

You can download your free printable Love Journal by clicking on the button below.

To assemble your journal, first print page 1 (the cover). Then, print pages 2-3 double sided. Print as many as you'd like for the number of days you'd like to record. Then fold these pages in half, and wrap the cover page around. Staple the book together (I love this staple free stapler for kids!) Now your journal is ready to go!

Complete Your Family Dinner Book Club Experience

For the total Family Dinner Book Club experience, start by heading to Growing Book by Book for a list of children's books about love and conversation starters.

Then visit Chef Sarah Elizabeth for a themed dinner menu and tablescape.

Finally, be sure to share your Family Dinner Book Club pictures with us on Facebook - we'd love to see them!
