This month's book club choice is Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee. One of the most eagerly anticipated books in years, Go Set A Watchman is the sequel to the beloved Pulitzer Prize winning classic To Kill A Mockingbird

Set two decades after To Kill A Mockingbird, Go Set A Watchman follows Jean Louise "Scout" Finch as she returns home to Maycomb, Alabama to visit her father Atticus. There she is forced to face harsh truths about the world around her and her own family.

Originally written by Harper Lee in the mid 1950s, before To Kill A Mockingbird, Go Set A Watchman has been received with both praise and criticism. I've just started reading it myself and am anxious to finish and look forward to discussing it in our book club! I've always loved To Kill A Mockingbird and I'm very interested to see where this new novel takes these beloved characters.

Can't wait to read it? Then join us for Mom's Book Nook this month! Simply grab a copy of Go Set a Watchman and then join my co-host Meghan of Playground Parkbench and I on Monday, November 30 at 9:00pm on Facebook to discuss.
