Silly Sticker Pumpkins Activity for Preschoolers

Make a silly sticker pumpkin! A perfect Halloween craft for preschoolers!

We love decorating pumpkins. The boys are really into stickers and glue right now, so when I found some super cute monster mouth stickers on my last trip to the craft store I just knew they would be perfect for making pumpkin decorations for our play room. We had so much fun making these and they would be great take home Halloween preschool crafts or Halloween party favors!

Making Silly Sticker Pumpkins is really easy. You will need:
  • Small pumpkins. We used artificial pumpkins that you can find at most dollar or craft stores this time of year.
  • Googly eyes. I wanted the boys to practice using glue sticks, but the self stick variety would work too.
  • Funny mouth stickers. (If you're doing this for a large group, you can find them in bulk here.)
  • Glue Sticks
Set everything out and invite your kids to make their own silly pumpkin faces! We started by glueing on the eyes.

Using glue sticks on the little eyes is fantastic fine motor practice. You need a good bit to make sure it sticks to the pumpkin, which worked for us because the boys can be a little heavy handed with glue.

Then you can add on a funny mouth and mustache (or mush-nash as my boys say) using your stickers.

And the finished products! We had so much fun making these and they are the cutest Halloween accents for our playroom.
